Changes to my study programme :c

Hello everyone ♡ I hope you are well.

Today I will talk to you about the study program of my career and I´m going to tell you about a few things that I would like to change about it.

I´m currently studying Visual Arts at Faculty of Arts on the Juan Gomez Millas Campus and in general, I think the classes are the right ones to learn the basics of art traditions and the experimental side of each discipline.

About the curriculum, it had many changes when I started studying, the whole curriculum changed from the previous year, we had new subjects, new schedule and many more things, many people say that we were like lab rats and we were trying new things for the career.

Among these new subjects I think we had some useless and boring subjects, or rather poorly designed, for example: Field Recognition, this subject has good and bad things, among the good, the teachers talked about something important for the future, but the classes were online, very long and very very tired, and the worst was that we only had one work to pass the subject, very scary. Another subject that was poorly designed was Interdisciplinary Workshop, the topics was good, but the same problem, that subject was online, it was very long and we only saw superficial things about the topics, so we never could go deeper because we didn't have time in the semester for all the units, so I think it was a waste of time. Also, something that I have seen in other universities and in our university, we don't have are internships in museums and with artists in the last year of career, in fact, I hope that with my classmates we will fight for the opportunity to incorporate this to our program. The academic load seems good to me, in addition to the fact that the professors are understanding with the personal problems that students may have had, also we have academic flexibility for the people who have problem or must work, so I think that side is good. And approximately we have 3 or 4 evaluations for each semester, so I think it is fine, and I also think that the 4 years of studies are fine, but I would include a fifth year for the practice in museums.I would also like to change some subjects that are writing and English since they are very difficult for me due to dyslexia problems :c

On the other hand, the faculty has a workshop full of tools to build large structures and sculptures of all materials, there is a room with macs computers and 3D printers for the most technological people, it is very cool and valued at the university. However, there are things that could be improved, such as the roofs, because when it is winter, the university gets rained and they have to suspend classes, also the amount of toilet paper and soap that we need, because during the week we are allowed 5 large rolls of comfort for the two bathrooms we have and it is not enough for the entire faculty, we are left without comfort for Friday.

The teachers in the career are all artists, that allows them to talk about the topics we need, however in the first year of the study program it is difficult to understand the academic terms they speak in class, so it is necessary that teachers changes how they do it and put it in another way for the students that don´t know yet all art terms, but in general they are very great teachers, with their speeches and poetic techniques they invite us to continue creating our art.

time travel ♡

Hello everyone ♡ today I will talk about time travel

When I think of time travel I always imagine things like in Rick and Morty or Back to the Future, and all the disaster that can happen if you do something wrong, but if I know everything is going to be okay.

In that case I would like to travel to the past and do the things I didn't do at the time and see what happened, I'm a very shy person and I didn't do many things because of that, so, that might be a good thing to do. Also I would like to enjoy the moments that I think and say "I would like to go back to that moment again", and finally I would love to go back to see the relatives that are not living more in this world, that can be a very special and emotional moment. About traveling to the future, I'm not really sure I would like it, not really, I feel that the future is something that surprises us, because we don't know what is going to happen tomorrow, so I definitely would not like to see things like the moment I'm going to die or crazy things from movies.

I am scared of time travel, I don't want the time cops to come for me because I will mess with time haha. as in gravity falls, where they created anomalies in time. So I would only do it to go back to the past and see my relatives, but for the moment, I would not like to stay in the past forever or in the future, I prefer to live the present.

My dream job ♡

Hello everyone ♡, I hope you are fine. Today I'm going to talk about my dream job.

Since I was child, my first dream job was to be a psychiatrist, but that changed very fast and with the time I was moving between various subjects,my memory began to be bad, dyslexia also appears, and finally I came to something that I am really passionate about, the world of arts.

I am currently a student of visual arts, I am preparing myself professionally at the university. My interests include textil arts, drawing and ceramic, but exixts a part of me that would really like to teach other people about the wonderful world of art and all the possibilities it has. So my dream job is to be a have an art workshop, have enough time to creat , sell them or exhibit them textile and ceramic works

I will be my own boss and that´s okey for me. For the same, be my own boss, I need a lot of abilities, like be more organized, more patient, more constant and I can´t be floppy because if I don´t work, I won´ t have money, and If I don´t have money, I won’t eat something. Yes, It´s terrible, but that´s the true.

When I talk to my family, they know that art does not generate much income, but some people, about money in the art world, I always hear comments about the low salary, that I would starve and live under a bridge. I honestly think it's true, the arts  are undervalued in Chile, but he has always supported me since I decided to study visual arts.

thanks

♡THE BEST HOLIDAYS I HAD EVER ♡

Hello everyone ,  Today I’m going to talk about the best holidays I had ever!

My best holidays ever was in the summer of 2019, when I went to Argentina, specifically to Buenos Aires and other cities for two amazing weeks. I went to  with my course of 4th year Secondary students  in the end of year trip and we stayed in a very comfortable hotel.

We did different activities in those two weeks, for example, we visited Mendoza, Puerto Madero, obelisco, casa rosada, caminito, museums ,the cathedral, and we visited other places, but I can´t remember the names and I didn’t take photos of that :c .obviously we ate very delicious food and enjoyed of choripán, Pizza, medialunas, etc.

I think this trip was the best holidays ever because traveled  for first time ,without my family.it was very exciting and I saw beautiful landscapes. Also this trip was the longest vacation away from my home or away to my city, that was very scary but I felt very excited to visit new places. Thanks you for reading .

A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT.

Hello everyone , If I had a ticket in my hand, I would take a plane and fly to Scotland and experience the culture, gastronomy, and castles, I would like to see the rolling countryside cities, icy mountain peaks and lovely villages all combine to provide an excellent destination, a cultural adventure, or a relaxing destiny.

Scotland is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, it is known for exquisite and unique liquor as well as its amazing and beautiful scenery. Scotland has also a rich history filled with emotional myths and stories, for example the well-known Loch ness monster receding in one of Scotland’s largest lakes, Lake Ness. Also, look out for the national animal, the unicorn, and the thistle, the purple flower of Scotland.

If I were in this place I would visit the Jacobite Train, best known for its leading role in the Harry Potter films as the iconic Hogwarts Express. The Jacobite will take you on a journey on the West Highland Railway, giving you spectacular views of the rural scenery enjoyed by Harry, Hermione, and Ron on their journey to Hogwarts. I would also visit Dunrobin Castle is the most northerly of Scotland's great houses. The Castle, which make a French castle with its extraordinary conical spires.

I like these places full of history and I would like to live there, mainly because I like the natural spaces in the mountains, the forests and I think that in Scotland there are many cliffs and leafy forests that go through lakes and extensive country. Ass well as being a beautiful place, Thanks you for reading .
